Taylor Dayne
The Pop Icon Sings On The Golden Bachelorette & Is A Spokesperson for Breast Cancer Awareness
Legendary pop icon Taylor Dayne continues to captivate audiences after more than 35 years in the music industry. Famous for her Billboard hits such as "Tell It to My Heart" and "Love Will Lead You Back," Dayne remains a musical force. Her recent collaboration with DJ trio Cash Cash also saw her topping the charts once again with a #1 remix.
Dayne made a surprise appearance on ABC’s popular show The Golden Bachelorette, treating viewers and contestants to a nostalgic performance of her classic hits. In Episode 2, she performed "Tell It to My Heart" and "Love Will Lead You Back" during the season’s first group date, an event styled as a prom night. Jonathan Rone, a contestant who never had the chance to attend his high school prom, was named prom king and received the group rose. Dayne serenaded the evening’s king and queen with "Love Will Lead You Back," creating a heartwarming and memorable moment for all.
Beyond her musical career, Dayne is also making an impact as a spokesperson for Wacoal America, a leading intimate apparel brand. As a colon cancer survivor, she is dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer through her involvement in Wacoal's Fit for the Cure® campaign, which benefits the Susan G. Komen® Foundation. In a recent statement, Dayne shared her passion for the cause:
"Being part of the Fit for the Cure® campaign with Wacoal and Susan G. Komen® is a powerful way to make a difference. The stories of courage and hope I've heard are unforgettable. This fall, I'm dedicated to spreading the message of early detection and supporting those touched by breast cancer even more."
The Fit for the Cure® campaign encourages women to get complimentary bra fittings, with Wacoal donating $5 for every regular-price bra purchased during the events. So far this fall, Dayne has appeared at events in North Carolina and Florida, continuing to lend her voice to this important initiative. Since its inception, Fit for the Cure® has raised over $6 million, with every dollar going to Komen’s direct patient support services. These funds help provide access to breast health services, financial assistance, education, and more through the Komen Patient Care Center.
