Kobe Bryant & Your Convenient Outrage

I believe a few are once again partaking in fake outrage to clout chase for attention or even worse, click baiting.

For more than a decade, we have had plenty of opportunities to cancel Kobe Bryant over the dismissed rape allegations and settlement, My question is where was your outrage. Why wait for a time when his family, friends, and fans are grieving?

Feel how you want to feel but your values should be consistent.

If what happened in 2003 didn't invoke you to spill your disappointment into seething hit pieces during the many milestones since then, you can miss me with your posthumously convenient vitriol. Find another way to get your name out there or to bait clicks.

Addressing wrongs should never be convenient or trendy. Don't let these writers fool you, they didn't care about the young woman in Colorado until Sunday and most still don't.

If they did, they would have Hannibal Buress'd his ass a long time ago — while he was alive.
