Maverick City Music Announces Fall 2024 Tour

The Good News Tour is hitting an arena, church, or stadium near you featuring Tasha Cobbs Leonard, JWLKRS Worship, Tim Godfrey, Stephen McWhirter, and Sam Rivera

The last two years have been excellent for Gospel and Christian music in terms of more tours coming together. Maverick City and Kirk Franklin went on the Kingdom Tour in 2022 which was highly successful. The Reunion Tour featuring Kirk Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Israel Houghton and Tye Tribbett was a major triumph in 2023 and 2024 reigniting many people's love for Gospel music and songs of praise and worship. It's Time was an all-female tour that united ladies of different genres, but of the same Faith in Christ including Taya, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Natalie Grant, and Naomi Raine. What a beautiful thing to have those colossal artists come together to bring Jesus while showing unity in Christ!

Now, another tour has been announced!

The Good News Tour will be hitting cities in the U.S. in the fall and this is a big one! Maverick City is headlining this tour with Tasha Cobbs Leonard and worship collective JWLKErS.

That alone is a great tour. However, they added Pastor Tim Godfrey, whose song "Very Big God" made a major splash on TikTok touching people who are not even Christians.

Also on the bill is Stephen McWhirter, a wonderful singer and songwriter whose voice you will never forget once you hear it! He has frequently collaborated with Jason Clayborn, written several great songs such as "Come Jesus Come" and has a powerful story of redemption.

Lastly, Christian R&B artist Sam Rivera will also be one of the guests. This young man has collaborated with the likes of KB, Evan Craft, Limoblaze, Aklesso, and fellow R&B artist, Yung Kriss. Yet, he is releasing some songs that pass the vibe check.

This is an opportunity for God to be glorified while introducing artists to different audiences. The Good News Tour is sure to be a successful one, but let's pray for souls to be saved, lives to be rededicated to Christ, and for the artists to be unified. We want all tours to be life-changing for the people who attend and for the artists.
