GBT Technologies Inc. (OTC PINK:GTCH) is researching the potential development of a radio based computer vision system to be guided by AI for cardiovascular applications, as part of its research for an autonomous arterial clog cleaning mini-probe. An excerpt from the press release explains:

The radio system will enable an efficient navigation within arteries, avoiding damaging the artery's walls, identifying clogs, providing clog's size, length, and shape. Using an AI program, a comprehensive, 3D view of the capsule's surroundings will be provided on a computer monitor while traveling inside the artery. The radio-based vision system is aimed to cover a wide range of situations where visible-medium imaging fails, enabling clear imaging in real time. We strongly believe that such a system, if fully developed, can have a huge potential for further health related applications, inside and outside a human body, to provide preventative medicine and replace invasive medical procedures and surgeries.

Car.Software Organisation, the software company of Volkswagen (OTC:VWAGY), has announced a collaboration with Microsoft (NasdaqGS:MSFT) to "build a cloud-based Automated Driving Platform (ADP) on Microsoft Azure and leverage its compute and data capabilities to deliver automated driving experiences even faster at global scale." Scott Guthrie, executive vice president, Cloud + AI at Microsoft, commented:

"This is the next evolution of our foundational work with the Volkswagen Group to enhance their transformation as a software-driven mobility provider. The power of Microsoft Azure and its compute, data and AI capabilities will enable Volkswagen to deliver secure and reliable automated driving solutions to their customers faster."
