Download A Digital Entrance Pass For Joshua Tree National Park
You can now download a digital entrance pass for Joshua Tree National Park in California from Recreation.gov.
These digital passes can be purchased on a computer or mobile device, either from home or en route to the park. Once purchased, digital passes must be printed or saved on your mobile device prior to use, as there is limited or non-existent Wi-Fi and cell service in the park.
Pricing ranges from $15 for a seven-day pass for someone who walks or bikes into the park to $55 for an annual pass to Joshua Tree.
“We are pleased to offer this opportunity,” said Joshua Tree Superintendent David Smith. “Visitors who purchase passes in advance may reduce their wait time at park entrances.”
The following digital park entrance passes are available on recreation.gov:
* Private Vehicle Pass (valid for seven days)
* Motorcycle Pass (valid for seven days)
* Individual Pass (valid for seven days)
* Joshua Tree Annual Pass (valid for one year from month of purchase).
Unused digital passes expire after a year. All passes will remain available for in-person purchasing at park entrance stations and visitor centers including the annual National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Pass.
