Trump's declaration to end the war in Gaza is a "lie" to save Netanyahu
Why didn't Khalil al-Hayya attend this wedding? Not even "false witness" Abbas?
The meeting held by U.S. President Donald Trump with eight Arab and Muslim leaders and officials on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York was akin to a "summons" to pass a 21-point plan that had nothing new at all. The same points had been discussed over 23 months of negotiations sponsored by the U.S. administration in Cairo and Doha under the title of ending the war in the Gaza Strip.
So as not to be accused of generalization, these repeated points can be summarized as the release of all prisoners at once, a permanent ceasefire, a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces, the formation of a governing administration for the sector in the post-war phase without any presence of the "Hamas" movement, limited representation for the authority, oversight by a military force from Arab, Islamic, and Palestinian countries (symbolic), and finally Arab and Islamic funding for the reconstruction of Gaza, without a single dollar from the USA or European countries. As usual, Israel destroys and Arab money rebuilds, just like what happened in Lebanon. There is no talk or mention at all of a long-term solution, including the currently discussed two-state solution.
This American project does not come out of compassion for the Palestinians or to stop the massacres of the genocide war in the Gaza Strip, but rather to save the state of Israeli occupation from the danger of rapidly expanding international isolation. President Trump literally said this, and he did not mention the genocide war or starvation at all because he does not acknowledge their occurrence.
How can we trust such a plan devised by Tony Blair, the former British Prime Minister whose hands are stained with the blood of Iraqi brothers and who was one of the main architects of their extermination and destruction, and Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law and Netanyahu's diligent student, who engineered the "Deal of the Century" and sees the Arab world as a real estate deal to reap billions, including Gaza, the "Riviera"? The main overseer of this poisoned and booby-trapped plan is Ron Dermer, the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs, who is the most hated and genocidal version of his mentor, Netanyahu, towards Palestinians and all Arabs.
We are astonished that some of these Arab and Muslim leaders who participated in the meeting with Trump appeared with smiles on their faces. Even Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described the meeting as "fruitful," and the same impression was echoed by Jordan's King Abdullah II, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, the Emir of Qatar, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who did not attend but relied on information conveyed to him by Mr. Mostafa Madbouly, his prime minister, who headed his country's delegation at the United Nations General Assembly meetings. On what basis did they build this optimism while the massacres have not stopped, and today alone, more than 70 martyrs have fallen?
We do not know why the President of Indonesia, Mr Prabowo Subianto, was invited to attend this meeting instead of more than 33 Islamic countries. This invitation raises concern and suspicion. Does this invitation confirm the incoming news about Indonesia's readiness to accept hundreds of thousands of displaced people from the Gaza Strip, according to the American-Israeli plan to empty the strip of its inhabitants? Or to send thousands of soldiers to occupy the sector and eliminate the resistance?
It is a new American trap of deception and trickery, considered a chapter of the negotiations that lasted 23 months, and perhaps a cover to continue them, providing excuses for Netanyahu and his army to continue the genocide and complete the displacement project.
How does America evaluate an Arab-Islamic "wedding" that is missing the bride and groom and their families, namely the "Hamas" movement, and even the submissive and complicit Palestinian Authority, which the Trump administration withdrew the entry visa from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and prevented him from attending the United Nations General Assembly meetings, in a further act of humiliation and degradation, despite his concession of 80% of the historical land of Palestine, employing 60,000 of his forces to protect the settlements and settlers, and confronting the legitimate resistance in Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, and all the occupied Palestinian cities, and being the only one in the world who congratulated the Israeli President on the occasion of the Jewish New Year?
President Trump, if he were truly serious about this plan, would have immediately stopped the Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip to prove his good intentions. He would have invited Khalil al-Hayya, the head of the Hamas negotiating delegation, to participate in the meeting. There is no justification for excluding him, as his envoys, led by Weitkoff, met with representatives of Hamas, and this meeting is documented with audio and video. However, Trump, who gave the green light to Netanyahu and the Mossad to bomb Doha with missiles, does not want his presence; he wants his assassination along with all his comrades.
And speaking of Wittekov, the American envoy to the Middle East, we were struck by his statement in which he said, "The agreement is very close, and we may announce it in the next few days." We have counted more than seven similar statements from him, almost word for word, over the past nine months at least, since he took office, revealing the extent of the deception, misrepresentation, and lies.
We wish that the Arab and Muslim leaders who hastily expressed their optimism about Trump's 21 points would wait a little and reserve their opinions and evaluations of the meeting with Trump until next Monday, when Netanyahu, who will meet Trump in the White House, will express his opinion on these points. Unfortunately, their haste reveals that they do not know the fickle liar Trump, nor his true master, Netanyahu, who has become the de facto ruler of the United States and the one with the final word.
