◆ Police are urging people to go about their lives, keep alert but not alarmed; report any suspicious activity but please carry on your normal life as much as possible. As the crowd left the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Evening News arena tonight, an explosive device detonated…

"BREAKING: Multiple U.S. officials say UK authorities suspect Manchester incident was conducted by a suicide bomber" — NBC News Twitter

Eyewitnesses and survivors describe a horrific experience, a panicked crowd stampeding over injured people, missing limbs and gruesome injuries. Survivors that have made it home are finding human flesh and blood in their hair and clothing.

Hospitals are overwhelmed yet coping at the moment, false reports of a gunman at Oldham Hospital are spreading; this is probably due to heightened security measures as they are dealing with a terrorist incident. It would be wise to avoid the area no matter what, as the hospitals and doctors will be under significant load and do not need any extra stress.

The first explosion occurred at 10:40pm BST, after the final performance by the singer. Ariana Grande exited the stage, the bomb was at the front entry-lobby; where people were packed closely together as they exited the venue. The Manchester Victoria station was closed immediately as it is in close proximity to the site of this attack. NBC news and “multiple U.K. Sources” are claiming that it was in fact a homicide or suicide-bomber.

A second blast was reported but not confirmed, and rumours are that this was an IED pressure-cooker device; we will update as the Manchester police and other U.K. Anti-terror operations report on their progress.

Harrowing accounts are being given to media, Beth Abbit of the Manchester Evening News interviewed a survivor at the A&E department of Whythenshawe Hospital…

“I was at the concert with my cousin. We were walking out and then it happened right in front of me. Me and my cousin fell back…“I can’t remember it properly, I remember seeing orange. “Everyone started crying and running away. I could see people near me and I saw a torso.…“I’m alright. I’ve just got cuts on my hand.” — Anonymous 17 Year old survivor, to Beth Abbit; Live updates from scene here

Prime Minister, Theresa May has suspended her General Election campaign, and Labour leader Corbyn remarked that this is a “terrible incident”, with the Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron cancelling a planned visit to Gibraltar…

Worried relatives have taken to social media as Facebook triggers the “Safety Check” on the area; twitter and Instagram is flooded with people worried about their friends and family. Some may have lost their phones and are not contactable, do not assume the worst. Others may still be in shock and not able to answer.

Video of one device detonating was captured by a vehicle’s dash-cam.

Some people are spreading false “missing” images; one Twitter user has posted a picture claiming that the X = “fake” and a Tick means that the person has been found. Many people are still missing. A lot of misinformation is being spread on Social Media.

Awful people such as David Leavitt—who may not be representing major media depending if clients see these tweets—started to “joke” and make puns, as victims still bleed… I hope that this man is drunk and makes proper reparations for these awful words.

Awful person, make amends now David. Seriously. Words matter. Delete your account or at least the most offensive 'jokes'.
