Music City Knockout PBR 2017
Nashville, Tennessee
The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) announced that Music City Knockout PBR of the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) will be returning to the Bridgestone Arena via Nashville PBR as the year's fourth and final Major on Friday, August 18, 2017, at 7:45 PM and Saturday, August 19 at 6:45 PM.
Nashville
Nashville is one of the tour's major stops for the world's best bull riders. Music City is the market that has the unique one-of-a-kind “knockout format” where the top 35 riders battle for increased points. During two days of Nashville PBR bracket-style action, riders are seeded, compete head-to-head, and the one with the best score advances. Those who lose have a second chance bracket that allows them to hopefully get back into the competition.
Schedule
The full schedule consists of 26 events with stops in major United States cities. Nashville has been chosen each of the past five years and an amazing 18 times going back to 1996. The Built Ford Tough World Finals will be in Las Vegas on November 1-5 where the 2017 World Champion, who is the bull rider who has earned the most points during the entire season, will be presented with a $1 million bonus and the World Championship belt buckle.
Tickets
Tickets start at $25 and are on sale at the box office at the Bridgestone Arena, at ticketmaster.com, or at the customer service department at 800-732-1727. "Elite seats" that provide a VIP experience are available for $400 and offer a behinds-the-scene look, early entry, a 60-minute backstage tour, a catered reception, a presentation and visit with bulls, an Elite Seat lanyard, and autographs and photos by the top bull riders.
