Live Cage Fighting returns to Ak-Chin Indian Community on Sept 23

Maricopa, Arizona

After hosting this popular and successful event last spring, the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle will host another round of live cage fighting on Saturday, September 23rd.
This exciting event for all ages will be held outside, in the UltraStar Amphitheater. Seating will be available starting at 5:30 p.m., in time for the preliminary games, and the main card starts at 7 p.m.

Come early to enjoy good food and beverages at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle, or take advantage of the concessions at the fight itself, as doors open at 5:30 p.m.
General admission is $25 — bring your blankets or low-back chairs. Cage-side seats can be purchased for $40. For roomier reserved seating and a dedicated server, check out the VIP high-top option, which seats up to 4 people for $100, or a VIP table, seating up to 6 people for $300. All ticket options can be purchased online or by contacting the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle box office, 520-233-2441.

The fight card includes matches between amateur and professional fighters from around Arizona and one fighter from California. One of the most exciting events pits Tonto Apache Tribal member Waylon “Kue” Quotskuyva, against former UFC fighter Clifford Starks, a top wrestler during his time at Arizona State University. Former heavyweight champion George Sopi of Maricopa is sure to be a local favorite, along with amateur fighter Coty Solatorio also of Maricopa.
This event is presented by RUF Mixed Martial Arts and Ringside Promotions, LLC. Cage fighting or mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact sport in which two contestants compete using various fighting techniques, one player needs to physically overpower the other — which is often easier said than done.

The UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle is located at 16000 N. Maricopa Road in Maricopa. For more information about this event, call 520-233-2441.
