Orlando Bloom to receive the Filming Italy Venice Award on September 6.
Orlando Bloom, will receive the Filming Italy International Award at the eighth edition of the Filming Italy Venice Award, created and directed by Tiziana Rocca.
The award ceremony will take place on September 6, 2026, at the Lido di Venice, honoring personalities whose talent and artistic careers have made a significant contribution to the growth and international promotion of cinema and audiovisual content.

Orlando Bloom achieved international fame through his roles in two of the biggest film franchises of all time: The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.
More recently, Bloom appeared in The Cut, which he also produced through his production company Amazing Owl. He also received enthusiastic reviews for his performance in the action comedy Deep Cover.
His next appearance will be in Bucking Fastard, directed by Werner Herzog, which will premiere at this year's Venice Film Festival.
The Filming Italy Venice Award
The Filming Italy Venice Award has been an established part of the Venice International Film Festival for several years. The award recognizes Italian and international films and TV series, as well as outstanding talent, industry figures and professionals from the latest film season.
The award also supports the fight against violence against women and is dedicated to all women working in the film industry, both in front of and behind the camera.
The eighth edition of the Filming Italy Venice Award, in collaboration with Sala Grande, is held under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Tourism, the Directorate-General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture, ANEC, ANICA, SNCCI, APA, Fondazione Marche Cultura, Marche Film Commission, the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, AGIS and Italy for Movies, in collaboration with Cinecittà.
