Angola government to regulate sale of maize and beans
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has recently submitted some legal tools for the appreciation of the Council of Ministers in order to regulate the sale of maize and beans in the country.
The information was released Saturday in the province of Huambo by the Director General of the Institute for Agrarian Development (IDA), David Tunga, in a statement to the press at the end of a working visit in the province.
According to the official, the legal instruments, which are awaiting approval, aim to enable the two most cultivated products in the country, especially in the Central and South regions, to be more profitable in their commercialization.
This strategy will also guarantee the improvement of the income of peasant families and the development of communities in the scope of the process of diversification of the national economy and fight against poverty.
