Prince Andrew Reportedly Lying About Ghislaine Maxwell, Sent Her An Email Asking About Virginia Roberts In 2015

Prince Andrew's emails revealed that he knew Jeffrey Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, when he wanted to ask him some questions about Virginia Roberts in 2015. This opposed the Duke of York's claim in his BBC Newsnight interview that he only met the convicted sex offender's then-girlfriend earlier this year. Hence, an expert claimed that the troubled royal family member was lying about his connection to the British socialite.

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice's father is said to be lying in his BBC interview with Emily Maitlis. In the podcast Pod Save the Queen, the host Ann Gripper and the Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers talked about his revelations and how he was never cleared about his relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell.

Prince Andrew said that he last saw Ghislaine Maxwell earlier this year, probably in the summer. "She was here doing some rally," he said, via Express.

Emily Maitlis then asked Jeffrey Epstein if the meeting took place after Jeffrey Epstein's arrest, Prince Andrew said it happened in early spring. Russell Myers noticed that it was devastating for Sarah Ferguson's ex when he was asked when he last met Ghislaine Maxwell.

At the time, Prince Andrew couldn't remember the date, but he was saying it was in spring or summer. Russell Myers then asked when Jeffrey Epstein's investigation was opened, explaining it was "definitely before that."

"Now, that's pretty much been proven to be a lie. He has categorically denied everything," he said. He also added that Prince Andrew's reputation is just in ruins.

There were reports Prince Andrew met Ghislaine Maxwell on June 6 this year at his private quarters in Buckingham Palace. Jeffrey Epstein's investigation started in February when the U.S. prosecutors re-opened the disgraced financier's case and his 2007 plea deal.

However, Daily Mail Online unveiled that Prince Andrew sent an email to Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015, as early as 5:50 in the morning, to tell her that he had "specific questions" about Virginia Roberts. Roberts was one of Jeffrey Epstein's victims, who claimed that he was trafficked by the convicted sex offender and was forced to sleep with Andrew when she was only 17. The latter denied the accusation in his interview.

BBC Panorama uncovered the email that showed Prince Andrew asked for Ghislaine Maxwell's help to respond to Virginia Robert's allegations. In the letter, he asked Jeffrey Epstein's alleged madam to tell him when they could talk about the victim, to which Maxwell replied that she had some info and asked him to call her when he had time. This seemed to show that they have known each other for quite a while.
