Donald Trump started raising eyebrows when he said that he’d expected that his life would somehow be ‘easier’ as the President of the United States of America, than as a private, though infamous reality-TV ‘star’.
“I loved my previous life. I had so many things going,” Trump said to Reuters on the 27th of April…
“This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.” — Donald Trump
Whining that he ‘missed driving’ and other freedoms—it seemed all-too-clear to the shocked interviewers and audience when they read or watched the interview that the President had not done his Due Diligence or research into the role of the President, before committing to his campaign and the job itself… Not too shocking to those who know the man well though, he is not a reader—he prides himself in not reading—and those who worked in the Trump organisation have reported his lack of interest in “any document longer than one page” (see; the GOP’s extremely rough tax plan).
In another embarrassing, floundering interview with John Dickerson of CBS news, he repeated his libellous claim that “President Obama tapped my phones!” To the amusement and frustration of all thinking people, and cut the interview off; if you watch for yourself the end is pure shame and schadenfreude as Trump’s face goes from smug at the beginning, to a tantrum-like exit as John Dickerson tries to hold in his laughter and pretend to respect the clown-in-chief.
Shocking us today with his previously unknown time-travel and mind-reading powers, another unhinged tweet came from the clown-king… Annoying anyone who has any sense of history, science and the concept of the space-time continuum;
“President Andrew Jackson, who died 16 years before the Civil War started, saw it coming and was angry. Would never have let it happen!” — Donald Trump, May 2nd, Twitter
"Stop the Runaway. FIFTY DOLLARS REWARD. Eloped from the subscriber, living near Nashville, on the 21st of June last, a Mulatto Man Slave, about thirty years old, six feet and an inch high, stout made and active, talks sensible, stoops in his walk…" Andrew Jackson, 1804, October the 3rd; Advertisement in the Tennesee Gazette
Andrew Jackson was a slave-owner, estimated at approximately 150 human-beings under his brutal rule. He once put an ad out in a newspaper, offering $10 for “every 100 extra lashes” to be awarded to anyone that caught a free or “escaped” slave. Jackson died 16 years before the war, as Donald states; though how he “saw it coming and was angry” and furthering the insanity “Would never have let it happen!”… Is just ridiculous, insane, and belongs in the fiction section of the book-store, not on the President’s personal twitter account. What is the man thinking? Donald claimed recently to be reading a book—which we know is a lie—about the Civil War, and even the author does not seem to believe him; most authors would be delighted to hear that a President is reading their work, and would not dispute that comment, Jon Meacham, author of “American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House” has greater morals than most. He attempted to decipher what Trump may have meant; a dangerous endeavour for anyone…
In an interview with Yahoo News he considered that Trump may have mistaken Jackson’s pro-federal stance as an anti-states-rights position, and more worryingly, that the Civil War may have been avoided by a skilled or strong statesman at the helm, making a pact or anti-aggression deal with the Confederate, pro-Slavery states. He was most concerned at the second assertion, as it would mean…
“Any accommodation with the South would have to have ratified the continued existence of slavery in the old slaveholding states—which, to be fair, was a mainstream possibility in the pre-war days” — Jon Meacham, in an interview with Yahoo News
After this, he again praised the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-Un. He “wanted to consider a direct meeting”, forgetting that there are no official diplomatic ties between the two countries, and any such meeting, if possible at all, would present insurmountable risks for a President of the USA; North Korea has been dubbed “the nation with nothing to lose” and it would not be a stretch of reality for them to use Kim Jong-Un himself, or anyone else in his entourage as an assassin or an almost-infinite avenues that the desperate nation would use to strike out at the USA.
Sean Spicer dug further into the hole, claiming that Kim Jong-Un had overcome difficulties and advanced North Korea somehow… Is he the Press Secretary for the Trump administration or part of KCNA?!
“(KJU) assumed power at an early age, and led his country forward” — Sean Spicer
After praising this brutal dictator, he was on a roll; now turning towards the Southern Hemisphere, to the “Donald Trump of Asia”; Rodrigo Duterte. In an interview with Bloomberg he lauded the murderous leader of the South Asian nation, who has taken an extreme stance “against drugs”, with vigilante death squads and assassins, bounties and many dead so far, and anyone covering or following along the horrific campaign knows that many of the victims of the death-squads are definitely not involved in the drug trade or even users. Duterte and the Police are using the order as a license-to-kill anyone who has filed complaints against the Police or other Political enemies and detractors of the leader.
Duterte shares a hatred-of-Obama with Trump, notoriously insulting Obama’s mother, and many others such as Pope Francis
“You know he’s getting very popular in the Phillipines” — Donald Trump
Is this a sign that the stress is taking a toll on his mental health? Donald Trump is the oldest President to assume office, with only Ronald Reagan being older in his second-term, after he began to deteriorate from Alzheimers Disease.
Could Donald Trump be suffering from something similar? Only his doctor knows, though many neurologists and other mental-health professionals are concerned and some are speaking out publicly now.
