American Idol season 7 fan favorite David Archuleta will release his new Christmas album, Winter In the Air, November 2nd, but pre-orders will be available as of September 10th. Fans who pre-order will receive an instant sneak-preview track of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.” Fans can also check out David's new single "Christmas Every Day" here on Spotify.

His new album coincides with a month-long Christmas tour kicking off November 26th in Los Angeles and wrapping up December 21st in Utah. Tickets can be purchased at davidarchuleta.com.

This is not the first Christmas album for Archuleta; Winter In The Air is a follow up to David’s 2009’s Christmas From The Heart album. The album peaked at #2 on Billboard’s Holiday chart and Top 30 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album chart.

The tracks on David’s new Christmas album feature traditional holiday hits with a few new songs that he wrote for the season as well.

“I tend to gravitate to more serious and slower Christmas songs,” says David about his new holiday album. “This time I wanted to have some fun and write a song that would make people happy and feel the joy of the holidays. With the help of Dave Barnes and Cason Cooley, I’m thrilled with how our song “Christmas Every Day” turned out! It makes me happy.”

Besides “Christmas Every Day,” David also wrote “Winter In The Air,” the song the album is named for.

“I love the spiritual message during Christmas, but I also love the general vibe of winter time. I thought it’d be a good challenge to write a song about sharing that intimate moment of experiencing the crisp winter air with someone you love.”
