Tiffany Trump's alleged affair and more from America's first families

Although they come from different sides of the aisle, there's one thing the likes of Ivanka Trump, Jill Biden, Michelle Obama and more all have in common — they're all prominent members of America's political dynasties. From complaints made about Ivanka Trump to Jill Biden's star-studded day in West Virginia, we took a look at what the most influential members of America's first families did this week. Here's everything you need to know...

HE'S BACK: Former President Trump will hold two rallies in June as he looks to capitalize on a series of crises engulfing President Joe Biden and lay down a marker for 2024 , according to one of his advisers. Those rallies will reportedly be followed by a third event around July 3 — all of which are expected to take the form of the airport rallies that dominated the closing months of last year’s election campaign. His team is in the process of selecting two venues from four possibilities. 'The president is anxious to get back out on the trail and we are getting a lot of offers and invitations from both candidates and political causes in different areas,' the adviser said. The rallies will be his first since he addressed supporters on Jan. 6 before a mob attacked the U.S. Capitol.

Trump has also teased the idea of visiting the border to highlight the unfolding crisis and has frequently hinted at a 2024 run. But according to aides, Trump's final decision on whether or not he will run for president again won't be announced until after next year's midterms. His return to campaigning, however, will be seen as a dry run for how he can build a platform in opposition to Biden and trumpet his achievements.

On Tuesday, Trump tested the sort of attack lines attendees might hear at his upcoming rallies. In a statement posted to his website, he compared Biden with President Jimmy Carter, listing crises from the Middle East confrontation to fuel lines along the U.S. East Coast caused by the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack. 'First there was the Biden Border Crisis (that he refuses to call a Crisis), then the Biden Economic Crisis, then the Biden Israel Crisis, and now the Biden Gas Crisis,' Trump said in a post on his website. 'Joe Biden has had the worst start of any president in United States history, and someday, they will compare future disasters to the Biden Administration—but no, Jimmy was better!'

TRUMP, THE QUEEN AND THE TOUR BUS: In other Trump news, Buckingham Palace has requested that a doctored image of Queen Elizabeth wearing a MAGA hat and QAnon brooch be removed from the 'Trump Train' bus. A Palace spokesperson confirmed that 'representations asking for (the photo's) removal have been made' Buzzfeed News reported. The 'Trump Train' bus is adorned with multiple doctored images, including former president Trump's head on a boxer's body with abs, former president Ronald Reagan wearing a red TRUMP hat and the Queen wearing a MAGA hat and a QAnon brooch.

The tour bus is owned by a Trump supporter named Buddy Hall and serves as 'the unofficial campaign tour bus to support the 2020 reelection of President Trump,' Hall said in a GoFundMe raising money for the bus upkeep, including gas and repairs. It still is driving around post-election and has been updated in preparation for the 2024 presidential election. The doctored picture of the Queen has been on the bus for more than a year, but was not widely noticed until the bus's appearance at last week's 'America First' rally, Buzzfeed News reported. The original image of the Queen - the one before it had been doctored - was taken by Getty Images photographer Christopher Furlong on April 1, 2011, in Anglesey, Wales.

The bus was most recently spotted at Republican representatives Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene's 'America First' rally in Florida. A spokesperson for Greene told BuzzFeed News that they were not affiliated with the bus but did not see any problem with the fact that the Queen's image was being used. 'You do know what a meme is right? Isn't that what Buzzfeed is all about?' A spokesperson for Gaetz shared a similar statement with the website: 'We're sure Her Majesty has greater concerns than motor vehicle traffic in [the retirement community where the rally was held] The Villages — Florida.' ROMANCE IN DC? Some rumors concerning the Trump family were also revealed this week. According to a new book titled Zero Fail: The Rise and Fall of the Secret Service by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Carol Leonnig, Don Jr.'s ex-wife Vanessa and Tiffany Trump both got 'inappropriately - and perhaps dangerously - close' to their Secret Service detail while Donald Trump was president. Vanessa, 43, (who was married to the president's eldest son, 43, from 2005 to 2018) allegedly 'started dating one of the agents who had been assigned to her family' at some point between when Trump took office in 2017 and when he left the White House in early 2021. Leonnig writes in the book that Secret Service agents had reported the relationship between Vanessa and the unnamed agent. The agent did not face disciplinary action because neither he nor the Secret Service were official guardians of Vanessa at the time, although Don Jr. reportedly asked that and his family have their 24-hour Secret Service protection removed because they wanted more privacy in 2017. Pictured: Vanessa and Don Jr pictured in September 2019 with an agent.

Leonnig also writes that Tiffany, Trump's only child with second wife Marla Maples, 'began spending an unusual amount of time alone with a Secret Service agent on her detail' after splitting up with a boyfriend. The alleged relationship raised eyebrows among Secret Service leaders, but according to the new book both Tiffany and the unnamed agent denied anything was going on between them. The agent, however, was later reassigned to another post. In 2017, Tiffany was spotted out in New York City with her Secret Service agent. The then-24-year-old was photographed protectively putting her hand on the agent's arm (pictured) as they crossed the street together on her way to meet her mom for dinner. It is not clear if this agent was the one linked to the president's daughter.

Agents are forbidden from entering into relationships with the people they protect because it could impact their judgement on the job. The book reveals it isn't clear if the then-president was aware of the rumors circulating about his two family members. However, it claims Trump did want agents removed for other reasons - namely that they were too short or fat. 'I want these fat guys off my detail,' Trump is reported to have said, possibly confusing office-based personnel with active agents, the book reads. 'How are they going to protect me and my family if they can't run down the street?' Pictured: Vanessa with a secret service agent in December 2017. There is no suggestion this agent is the person she had an alleged 'close' relationship with.

IVANKA'S ROCKY WEEK: Down in Florida, Ivanka Trump hit rocky waters this week after a surfing lesson with her kids took a turn for the worse and an old acquaintance accused the former first daughter of racism. In exclusive photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the 39-year-old was seen hitting the waves with her three children - Arabella, nine, Joseph, seven, and Theo, five - on Sunday, however it was far from smooth sailing for the former First Daughter, who suffered several tumbles during the session, as well as a scary collision with her younger son. Thankfully, the youngster appeared unharmed, and proud mom Ivanka was later seen waving her hands, clapping, and flashing a thumbs-up while watching her kids conquering the ocean on their own boards, all while under the watchful eye of several instructors.

Ivanka certainly looked the part when she made her way into the water at the start of her surf lesson, wearing skintight black leggings, a black vest, and a long-sleeved blue T-shirt with the words South Beach Surf Club plastered on the front. She was accompanied by a bearded surf instructor as she hauled her white-and-blue board down to the water before attempting to catch some waves. Ivanka also took several knocks herself; one snap captured her being almost entirely submerged by a wave while trying to stand up on her board, while others show her with her arms outstretched, trying to maintain her balance before falling down into the water.

Meanwhile, Vivica A Fox — who appeared on Donald Trump's television series the Celebrity Apprentice in 2015 — has accused Ivanka Trump of making a racist comment toward her during her time on the show. In a discussion this week about past racial controversies on reality TV the actress, 56, recalled the time when the former president's daughter, 39, told her: 'Wow, you speak very well.' Referring to the incident, Fox said: 'I hate to say it, I don't think she knew at the time that she was insulting us. I really think that she thought she was complimenting us.' Tweets around the time the show aired show viewers calling the comments 'very offensive' and asking: 'How should they sound?' Another said: 'Ivanka Trump: you certainly are an articulate group… Said after hearing Vivica and Keisha speak. #Girlbye #CelebrityApprentice #thatsracist'. Ivanka has not commented on the claims.

FROM LOS ANGELES TO DC: Jill Biden and Michelle Obama both made appearances with celebrities this week on separate occasions. First Lady Jill joined White House efforts to woo Democratic Senator Joe Manchin by inviting him on her and Jennifer Garner's West Virginia trip on Thursday. The trio also was originally scheduled to visit Arnoldsburg Elementary School in Clay County, but that portion of the trip was canceled because of COVID-19 quarantine in the school district. Instead, Garner (a West Virginia native), Manchin and the first lady visited a vaccination center and delivered remarks at Capital High School in Charleston, W.Va. Biden, in accordance with new CDC guidelines, exited the plane without a face mask. She wore a white dress with a soft pink blazer over it. Jennifer Garner, wearing a black dress, had a face mask on but took hers off when she saw the situation.

Manchin, a moderate senator, is a key vote for Democrats in the 50-50 Senate. President Joe Biden will need his support on his two massive legislative packages - his $2.3 trillion American Jobs Plan - with its focus on infrastructure - and his $1.8 trillion American Families Plan with its focus on social programs. Garner, a friend of Dr. Biden who is no stranger to politics, grew up in Charleston, West Virginia and has previously testified before Congress in support of education programs for preschoolers in poverty. After working with the future first lady as board members on the Save the Children charity organization, the Hollywood actress also campaigned for Joe Biden in last year's election by hosting an event on Instagram with Jill. Elsewhere, Michelle Obama shocked fans with a surprise appearance at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday night in a chic V-neck gown. The 57-year-old attended the ceremony via video call to present The Weeknd, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, with the award for International Male Solo Artist. Beamed onto a screen in the O2 Arena in London, Michelle told the audience and viewers at home: 'He [Abel] has made his impact not just on stage and in our earbuds... He has also donated millions to Covid Relief and Black Lives Matter. He's helped feed those displaced by violence in Ethiopia, he's funded assistance for survivors of the explosion in Lebanon... So, let's just say in a tough year he's provided a light that's pretty blinding and given us all a reason to dance.' Unable to accept the award in person, the footage then returned to Abel who said: 'My people in Ethiopia who are suffering – you are deep in my heart... For everyone watching, please help where you can.'

SAYING GOODBYE TO A VERY GOOD FIRST DOG: Earlier in the week, the Obamas suffered a heartbreaking loss: the death of their dog Bo. The former first family bid a sad farewell to their family pet after he passed away Saturday from cancer. The Portuguese Water Dog, a gift from the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, was adopted by the First Family early in 2009 and joined them for both terms in the White House. Bo helped Obama keep a promise to daughters Malia and Sasha that they could get a dog after winning the election in 2008.

On Saturday, the former president posted a series of pictures of his pet alongside a moving message describing Bo as a 'true friend and loyal companion.' He said: 'Today our family lost a true friend and loyal companion. For more than a decade, Bo was a constant, gentle presence in our lives—happy to see us on our good days, our bad days, and everyday in between. He tolerated all the fuss that came with being in the White House, had a big bark but no bite, loved to jump in the pool in the summer, was unflappable with children, lived for scraps around the dinner table, and had great hair. He was exactly what we needed and more than we ever expected. We will miss him dearly.'

Bo, alongside his companion dog, Sunny (who joined the family in August 2013), were a constant presence around the White House and popular among visitors there, often joining the Obamas for public events during Barack's two terms in office. The dogs entertained crowds at the annual Easter Egg Roll and Bo occasionally joined Mrs Obama to welcome tourists. The dogs also cheered wounded service members, as well as hospitalized children the first lady would visit each year just before Christmas. In another post featuring a slideshow of images of Bo — including one of him sitting behind the president's Resolute Desk in the Oval Office (pictured) — Mrs. Obama recounted his years bringing some levity to the White House. The former first lady wrote: ''As a family, we will miss Bo dearly. But we are thankful that he lived such a joyful life full of snuggles, games of fetch, and evenings spent lying on the couch. We also know we weren't the only ones who cared for Bo, and are grateful for all the love you showed him over the years. Please hug the furry members of your family a little closer tonight—and give them a belly rub from us.'
