Cowboy Hall of Fame Bobby DelVecchio Returns to Earnhardt Auto Centers

Chandler, Arizona

Earnhardt Auto Centers welcomes Bobby DelVecchio to the team. DelVecchio worked for Tex Earnhardt and the Earnhardt family for many years and will now run one of its dealerships as a general manager.

Bobby DelVecchio has had a relationship with Tex and the Earnhardt family for over 30 years. In fact, DelVecchio has been around long enough to watch Derby, Dodge and Nature to grow up to be apart of the Earnhardt family business.

DelVecchio is well-known among rodeo aficionados. He grew up in The Bronx, New York, and started out as a true urban cowboy. His prestigious career includes the 1981-82 Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Reserve World Championship and the 1983 PRCA Texas Circuit Championship. He qualified to compete at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo six consecutive times, from 1980-1985.

DelVecchio received the Professional Bull Riders’ Ring of Honor award in 2006 for his contributions to the sport of bull riding. These contributions include genetic advances that make bulls buck more frequently, which increases the thrill of the sport, making it more risky for riders. DelVecchio was also inducted into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame & Western Heritage in Oklahoma City in 2015. DelVecchio now lives on a Texas ranch and is a bull breeder.
