Vodacom Mozambique receives unified telecommunications licence

Vodacom Mozambique, one of the three mobile operators in Mozambique, has received the Unified Telecommunications Licence.

It is a renewal of the licence that will expire on 23 August that VM received 15 years ago.

With the unified licence, the operator will be able to provide telecom services regardless of the support technology, without the need to obtain spectrum or numbering frequencies and other applicable rules.

Until recently, a specific licence was required for 2G, 3G, data transmission, internet, radio, TV and other services in the country.
