Brad Sherman and Al Green filed Articles of Impeachment against the President of the United States earlier today. Citing multiple violations of the law, they have now began the official procedures to remove Donald Trump from office…
Donald Trump Junior has repeatedly jeopardised the Trump Regime’s power, and possible freedom in the last week, leaking his own emails before the mainstream media were able to obtain them; perhaps thinking that this would stop any more investigations into his contacts with the Russian operatives who were attempting to influence the 2016 Election. His actions have been described as treasonous by some, criminal by others; and “pure idiocy” by most that are fairly certain he did not know the magnitude of the criminal implications he has brought upon himself, and the Trump Campaign.
Actually admitting that he was “loving” the potential dirt that foreign operatives were offering him about his fathers main political opponent—Hillary Clinton, then setting up a meeting with the Kremlin-linked-lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort at the Trump Tower in June 2016…
Rob Goldstone, an eccentric publicist had contacted Donald Junior via email, offering “information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father”.
Spokespeople from the Kremlin deny that the lawyer represented the Russian State or was acting on orders from Vladimir Putin as suspected.
“A lawyer represents the Russian state if he participates in a case on behalf of the Russian state, where the Russian state acts as plaintiff or defendant, and in this case there was nothing like that” — Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin Spokesman
Donald Trump first responded on Twitter of course, stating that his son was a “high quality person” and not really helping their case…
“My son Donald did a good job last night. He was open, transparent and innocent. This is the greatest Witch Hunt in political history. Sad!” — Donald Trump on Twitter
Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s running-mate for the 2016 election went further, saying that this has “moved beyond obstruction-of-justice” and that it is “moving into perjury, false statements and potential treason”.
Confirming fears that the President Donald Trump may be actively attempting to obstruct or pervert the course of multiple investigations, the probe into the actions of Michael Flynn; unregistered foreign agent and consultant to Raycip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin and all the obstructions related to his attempted bullying of James Comey, multiple attempts to curtail his investigations, and then eventually firing the then-director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Sherman’s statement includes harsh criticism of Donald Trump’s Unpresidential conduct; stating that his lack of impulse control, staff of enablers and how much he has damaged the honour of the Office of President—to powers both foreign and domestic—and his general ignorance and amateurish behaviour since taking the Oath of Office.
In the press release Senator Sherman also leaves the gate open for more evidence and different charges, if they arise as investigations proceed. First though they are claiming that Donald Trump has met the conditions to file for Obstruction of Justice, as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 1512 (b)(3).
Brad Sherman ends the release by damning with faint praise; he served with Mike Pence in Congress for 12 years and “disagrees with him on just about everything” yet he would make a far better or at least competent President than this clown.
To summarise some of the charges being brought against the President, listed below are some key points.
• Prevented, Obstructed and Impeded the administration of Justice.
• Used his authority to hinder and cause the termination of investigations including threatening James Comey, terminating his position as head of the FBI
• Requested the then-director to terminate investigations into Michael Flynn
• Determining to terminate the Director after this request was denied, then afterwards requesting that the Deputy Attorney General provide him with “evidence of Comey’s inadequate performance as director”
• Directly admitting that he did in fact terminate Comey due to the investigation, after offering several conflicting reasons for this decision
• After terminating Comey’s lead of the FBI, foolishly stating that “The pressure had been reduced”
The final paragraph should be of most concern for Donald Trump and his cronies, as they may need to start getting used to wearing Orange…
“Donald John Trump, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office”.
This is a major development, and probably the least surprising Impeachment ever.
President Mike Pence could be terrible, but he at least has some experience. If the investigations keep moving into his actions though, we may find there is no clean member in the Administration. Perhaps we can ask the Russians who is most suitable, they have all the best information!
